Pastor Rich Griffith
After accepting Christ into my life as a child, at age twenty-one I surrendered my life to the Lord. At that time I had no idea God would later call me to serve Him as a pastor to the local body of Christ. After graduating from Central Michigan University, serving in the United States Marine Corps, and then receiving a Masters degree in Counseling from Liberty University in Virginia, I came back to Michigan and became licensed as a Professional Counselor. Later, the Lord led my wife and I to serve at the Baptist Children's Home for two years. From there, I began attending Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and received a call from First Baptist of Clare in 1998 to serve as an Associate Pastor for five years. On August 1st of 2003, I accepted the call to pastor Parma Baptist Church. I am so thankful to serve such a wonderful group of believers who value God's Word and genuinely want to live for Jesus. I also have served as Chaplain and Fire Fighter of the Parma-Sandstone Fire Dept. since 2006.
